I cut some Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock into 2 pieces, the first measuring 4 and and a quarter inches by 5 and a half inches, the second measuring 5 and a half inches by 8 and a half inches, scored it in half and folded it and this forms the base for my card. Using the smaller piece of card I cut the word Happy using a set of Kaisercraft letter dies, making sure to retain all of the pieces. I placed a strip of low tack tape across the back of the card and reinstated the cut out letters into the places they were cut from.
The final touches were a simple gold embossed “have a” banner popped up on foam for just above the word Happy 3 tiny gold glitter butterflies that I cut with one of my hand pouches and a few clear sequins in various sizes. To complete the sentiment I stamped Birthday in black ink on the inside of the card.
A lovely elegant little card. I love the shimmery texture Nuvo embellishment mousse provides and its wide variety of colours makes it a very versatile and handy item to have in your stash.
